This weeks challenge is to choose a picture representative of a kiss. A kiss can mean so many things. In many parts of the world it is used as a sign of greeting or salutations. We give a kiss to our significant others before they leave for work or at night before drifting off to dreamland. A kiss can be gently placed on the forehead of a sick child, comforting and calming their little nerves. A kiss is versatile yet always means the same thing.
Pictured above is my oldest daughter and my cat. This all white kitty is getting up there in years and yet throughout her entire life she has enjoyed sniffing and rubbing her little nose on your face. I’ve always felt she was giving us a little kitty kiss demonstrating how much she loves her humans. Animals can bring so much comfort and joy to a person’s life. Her little kiss to my daughter was incredibly sweet and genuine. And what’s funny is that this particular cat isn’t very friendly! But even through her temperamental state, she loves to give away kisses.
